Rail → Road: rail transport and regional delivery
A rail leg in China followed by road delivery across Russia.

China · rail → handover terminal → Russia · road → address
Where transport changes
The offer identifies the Chinese departure station, border leg and terminal for road handover. Feasibility is checked for the actual origin and destination; there is no single route suitable for all furniture and regions.
When to compare this option
When onward speed matters, compare continuation by rail with a road leg. Assess total time, including departure queues and terminal handling. A short transit leg alone does not guarantee earlier delivery.
Handover checklist
Record package count, packaging condition and loading responsibilities. Check vehicle door clearance and unloading sequence for bulky furniture. For containerised goods, agree whether the container continues or the goods are transloaded.
