DINA BUILD

For partners and clients

Choose material directions for your project — we will prepare a selection from manufacturers and showrooms in China.

What to source for your project

This is a material guide, not an inventory catalogue. Images illustrate directions, not specific products. Select groups and prepare a brief.

Flooring

Engineered wood, parquet, laminate, SPC and LVT. Compare texture, sound and replaceability as well as pattern.

What to check and specify

Specify substrate, underfloor heating, room moisture, installation method and junction heights. Request the chosen range’s data sheet and care instructions.

Tiles and porcelain

Floors, walls, bathrooms and entrances need different options. Matt, polished and textured surfaces feel and clean differently.

What to check and specify

Check size, thickness, intended use, documented slip properties, batch shade and calibre. Agree layout, cuts and spare quantities before ordering.

Stone and large slabs

Natural stone, engineered quartz and sintered surfaces are different materials. Choose for use and maintenance, not just veining.

What to check and specify

Provide blank sizes, cutting plan, edges, cut-outs, joints and delivery constraints. Photos cannot replace sample and slab-pattern approval.

Paint and decorative plaster

Paint, mineral textures, microcement effects and decorative coatings define a room. Select the full system, including primer and protective finish.

What to check and specify

Check substrate, dry or wet use, colour in your lighting, cleaning and repairability. Approve a test panel before the main batch.

Wall and acoustic panels

Veneer, HPL, decorative boards, slats and fabric panels offer different surfaces. Slats alone do not establish a system’s acoustic performance.

What to check and specify

Check composition, backing, fixings, edges and application documents. For acoustics request tests of the complete assembly, not just a marketing name.

Facades and terraces

Ceramic, fibre cement, metal, wood and composites must be considered with their support system. Climate, maintenance and replacement matter for homes and resorts.

What to check and specify

Provide elevations, heights, climate and designer requirements. For decks specify surface, drainage and fixings. Final suitability is checked against the project.

Roofing and insulation

Roof coverings, insulation, membranes and drainage are selected as a compatible system. Insulation thickness is not chosen on price alone.

What to check and specify

Specify structure, pitch, climate, calculations and ventilation design. Request brand-specific documents, accessories and installation guidance.

Doors and fitted systems

Internal doors, partitions, sliding systems and fitted storage. Appearance must work with convenient opening and maintenance access.

What to check and specify

Provide finished openings, wall thickness, swing direction, hinges, handles and locks. Windows need separate glazing, profile and installation specifications.

Bathroom fittings

Basins, baths, showers, taps and bathroom furniture. Select by dimensions and connections so the set can be installed and serviced.

What to check and specify

Check installation drawings, connections, specified pressure, concealed access and spare parts. Match metal finishes using samples from the different products.

Lighting and electrical fittings

Ambient, task and decorative lighting serve different purposes. Choose pendants, recessed fittings, profiles and switches for room activities.

What to check and specify

Check dimensions, lumen output, colour temperature, supply, dimming and control compatibility. Wet and outdoor requirements follow the project.

Furniture and hardware

Kitchens, wardrobes, tables, upholstery and components. In a showroom inspect seating, opening action, hidden finishes and assembly details.

What to check and specify

Check dimensions, carcass materials, fronts, edges, mechanisms, packaging and assembly. Approve drawings and samples before bespoke production.

Curtains, fabrics and rugs

Linen, blends, blackout fabrics, upholstery and rugs complete interiors. Resorts also need practical routine cleaning and textile replacement.

What to check and specify

Check sizes, weight, composition, care, colourfastness and suitability for public spaces. View colour and texture in daylight and evening light.

Selection is not an order and is not sent automatically. Next, download the brief and contact us.

Guides and contemporary solutions

Not every contemporary solution suits every project. These are comparison guides, not claims of new stock or brand partnerships.

Large format: plan cutting and delivery first

Large ceramic slabs offer surfaces with fewer joints. Size alone does not make a material suitable for every wall, worktop or facade. Thicknesses and versions have different application requirements.

For sourcing in China, prepare surface elevations and delivery opening sizes. The proposal should clarify cutting, pattern direction, packaging and installation. Approve a sample and then a slab layout: a small piece cannot show the whole pattern.

Matt fronts: compare the finish, not the name

Contemporary furniture finishes can combine low sheen, texture and anti-fingerprint properties, as illustrated by PerfectSense ranges. These are product-specific properties, not features of every matt board.

When sourcing an alternative, ask for the substrate, coating, edging and cleaning guidance. Inspect a sample under side lighting, compare hand marks and edge joints. The word “equivalent” without documentation does not establish matching performance.

Showroom and manufacturer: what to record

A showroom helps compare textures, furniture comfort and combinations. At a manufacturing site, establish who makes the item, to which specification and how batches are checked. A showroom address alone does not establish origin.

Record the item code, label photos, dimensions, material, colour, contents and approved sample. Compare packaging, shipping volume, spares, assembly and substitutions separately. Compare equivalent scopes rather than the lowest headline figure.

From idea to an agreed supply plan

01 · Brief

Property type: apartment, house or resort. Plan, dimensions, style, budget and required date.

02 · China sourcing

Compare manufacturers and showrooms. Record model, material, dimensions, price and terms awaiting confirmation.

03 · Samples and review

Approve colour, finish and completeness. Review documents and technical suitability; similar appearance does not guarantee identical properties.

04 · Contract and logistics

Before payment agree the contracting party, specification, packaging, acceptance and delivery terms. Production, transport, clearance and installation are separate items.

Before your project

Good choices are in the details

Three things worth discussing before ordering.

01Your everyday routine

Where do you read, relax and welcome guests? Start with habits, then choose the style.

02Dimensions before purchasing

Check furniture dimensions, door swings and the delivery route. An attractive photograph does not show these constraints.

03Care without surprises

Ask for care instructions and limitations of the chosen finish. The choice should fit your way of living.

Products and estimates
