MDF and particleboard panels
A base for smooth and decorative finishes
How to choose
Timber, stone, concrete and solid-colour finishes. Check emissions, use class and edge treatment; a moisture-resistant grade does not make a wall waterproof.
DINA BUILD · MATERIALS & SUPPLY

A base for smooth and decorative finishes
Timber, stone, concrete and solid-colour finishes. Check emissions, use class and edge treatment; a moisture-resistant grade does not make a wall waterproof.

Lightweight panels, varied finishes
Lightweight finishes for approved indoor conditions. Wet areas need separately designed substrate waterproofing, junctions and cavity ventilation.

Timber, paint and crafted details
For offices, living rooms, hotel rooms and reception areas. Agree species, finish, grain direction and humidity-related movement.

Relief and soft light
Paintable relief and accent walls. Check material, weight, fire performance and paint compatibility for each product.

Slatted rhythm and tactile surfaces
Sound absorption and sound insulation are different. Decorative slats alone do not establish reduced sound transmission through a wall; assess the whole assembly.

Sections, thickness and surface choices
Wood, stone, metal, textile or plaster effects. Names such as “bamboo” do not establish exact composition; request substrate, finish and fire documentation.

The finish describes the surface. Substrate and composition are confirmed separately: a timber pattern is not solid wood, and a textile pattern does not prove sound absorption.

Archive catalogues for selecting finishes, sections and joints. Supplier materials, not completed DINA projects. Confirm current model, composition, dimensions, installation requirements and documents before ordering. Historic 2024 prices and freight estimates are not a current offer.
Choose the visual finish, then verify the substrate material and suitability for the room.
The substrate must be sound, clean, dry and within the panel and adhesive flatness tolerances. A “2 mm” rule is not universal. Resolve damp or weak areas and confirm adhesive, primer and finish compatibility.
A support frame levels the finish and accommodates designed services. Agree support spacing, fixings, backing, access panels and gaps. Framing does not eliminate building movement joints.
