Identify the responsible parties

Identify the contractor, the specialists’ employer and the site lead. Record the scope, communication process and who approves changes. Nationality is not a substitute for checking skills and documentation.

Check the legal basis for work

For a foreign specialist, check the applicable immigration status, document validity, region and occupation where restricted by the authorisation. Separately establish who handles required notifications. Do not send passport copies through an open website form.

A separate note on DPRK nationals

DPRK nationals are subject to special UN Security Council restrictions on work abroad. The ordinary process for PRC nationals cannot simply be applied to them. Any statement about recruitment requires individual legal review of applicable restrictions and exceptions; this page offers neither circumvention nor such recruitment services.
